Balsamic Marinated Steak
So we're entering week 2 of kitchen remodel and it's grill central over here. This was last week's find and it's totally a keeper! Thanks to Skinnytaste for the inspiration! We added some grilled bok choy and cauliflower rice and it's an easy, healthy meal with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow's repurposed steak salad lunch.
Balsamic grilled steak
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lb steak (we bought the big family pack of top loin but flank steak would also be great)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 lb steak (we bought the big family pack of top loin but flank steak would also be great)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
MARINADE:
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tablespoon mixed herbs (rosemary, basil, sage, thyme)
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tablespoon mixed herbs (rosemary, basil, sage, thyme)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Marinate overnight in the fridge, grill and enjoy! (I literally threw it all in a ziploc bag and was done in 3 minutes.)
2. Grill over medium heat until desired doneness, let rest for 5 minutes and slice.
Tastes great with grilled veggies or over an arugula & tomato salad. Enjoy!
