Getting fit for fall
What is a challenge group?
Well, as someone who only just "discovered" challenge groups myself last fall, I can say it's a life changer. After months of stumbling along on my own, working out, trying to diet without really wanting to diet, dealing with frustration at not seeing the changes I wanted, the help and support of the group was just what I needed. Nearly a year and three challenge groups later, I can say that I've stopped "dieting" for good and have learned a lot about clean eating and fitness and am leaner, healthier and happier in my own skin.
SO WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THESE CHALLENGE GROUPS?
How do they work? What do you get as a member of one of my challenge groups?

SO WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THESE CHALLENGE GROUPS?
How do they work? What do you get as a member of one of my challenge groups?
- Daily motivation and support to get you started and keep you going.
- Accountability - daily check ins with the group to discuss how the day went with food and workouts. It's really amazing how having to report out how you did each day with working out and eating healthy really does keep you on track. Accountability helps!
- 1 on 1 support from your coach (ME!)
- Group support - there's just something about being in a group of people who are also struggling with the same things. You are not the only person who wants to eat your entire kitchen at 9pm. There are other people who are trying to figure out how to juggle work, family, exercise, meal planning, etc.. You are not alone. Other people are also tackling the same issues and having the support of the group in talking through those challenges and coming up with strategies for how to deal with them can be an amazing thing. Try to remember what it felt like the last time you were a part of a team - it's a wonderful thing!
- Meal planning - we'll talk about how to plan, shop, and eat clean. This is not a 60 day diet! My goal is for you to learn new, healthier habits that become a part of yours and your family's life. Together we'll figure out ways to make this a lifestyle change that works for you.
- Lose weight - this is one of the big reasons people join these groups (but not the only one.) Accountability groups help people achieve their goals, whether it be weight loss, toning, eating better, and/or establishing new, healthier routines.
- We always say it takes 21 days to form a new habit - these groups help people do just that with support.
- Have fun and make friends - I have met some amazing people in these groups who I may never have met otherwise. Challenge groups are an amazing, positive, supportive environment which helped me get to where I am today.
Joining a challenge group really was one of the best decisions I've made in improving my own health and fitness. Honestly, it's what inspired me to become a Beachbody coach. Now I want to pay it forward and help support other people in their journeys.
