Teriyaki Marinade

I found this Teriyaki Marinade when I was looking for a clean eating alternative to commercial marinades. It's super delicious and a breeze to prepare. Use it on salmon or chicken or anything you think needs a little pep.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp maple syrup
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp sea salt 


Directions:
Combine all ingredients and place meat or fish in shallow baking dish and marinate for 20 minutes in refrigerator. Turn the meat a few times to distribute the marinade evenly.
