Cranberry Parmesan Brussel Sprouts

This recipe awakened a newfound love for brussel sprouts. If you’d asked me 6 months ago if I’d ever eat brussel sprouts I would have said no. But this year has been all about trying my new things and opening up my horizons with food. This recipe did that for me and another bonus, Andrew loves it too!

Cranberry Parmesan Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients:
1 lb. brussel sprouts
3 Tbls olive oil
3 Tbls honey
1 tsp garlic salt
Black pepper to taste
¼ cup dried Craisins
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

    1.  Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

    2.  Rinse and cut the ends off of the brussel sprouts. Then slice them in half.

    3.  Whisk the olive oil, honey, salt, pepper in a bowl and toss with the brussel sprouts.

    4.  Spread the brussel sprouts on a baking sheet and sprinkle with grated parmesan and Craisins.

    5.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Watch them carefully though! The cheese will burn if you don’t keep your eye on it.
