The Positivity Project

I've been thinking a lot lately about the culture of the world around us. There is so much negativity that surrounds us daily. In so many aspects of our daily lives, we are surrounded by toxicity and conflict. It is hard NOT to let that negativity seep into our psyche and infect our outlook on life and when we're busy, tired, and stressed, it's even harder not to let the negativity of the world get us down. 

I fully acknowledge that much of it we cannot control, like our national political climate, social media, the culture at our workplace, the busy state of our lives, etc. We CAN, however, do more in our own little worlds to BE the positivity we need. While I cannot change the political climate by myself, I CAN take small steps daily to focus on the positive, to see the good around me, to consciously CHOOSE to infuse positivity in my daily life and interactions.

Countless studies have shown that positive thoughts and emotions can strongly influence our level of happiness and positively impact us physically and psychologically. THAT is what this group is about. Over the course of 7 days, we are going to CHOOSE to focus on the positive. Positivity is a CHOICE and we are going to be agents in creating that change in our lives.


The details:
- the group will run for 7 days in a private, closed Facebook group
- daily assignments to help you reset/retrain your mind & your habits to the positive
- short mindset and personal development clips to inspire and motivate you
- support from other likeminded people, myself included, who are also invested in infusing more positivity into their lives/environments
